Each author takes one of the characters, and they take turns literally writing to each other. As each author writes another letter the plot evolves and solves. It's brilliant! It must have been really fun to write a book like that. All in all, I say: READ IT. I found it at a used book shop. I am excited to read the next two on Kindle.

The Wizard of Oz

I remember when I first saw this; my grandparents house and I was so excited. I remember gasping when everything turned to color. IMDb writes, "Dorothy Gale is swept away to a magical land in a tornado and embarks on a quest to see the Wizard who can help her return home." Garland (A Star is Born) plays Dorothy, Morgan (The Shop Around the Corner) is the Wizard, Bolger (The Harvey Girls) plays the Scarecrow, Lahr (Ship Ahoy) is the Lion, Haley (Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm) is the Tin Man, and Burke (Father of the Bride) is Glinda the good witch. All in all, I say: SEE IT - take the kids to the theatre this weekend.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

A very clever film when it was released. Half cartoon and half real world they really needed some good actors. Hoskins (Hook) was the great actor that along with Fleischer's (Rango) voice of Roger really made this film a lot of fun. IMDb writes, "A toon hating detective is a cartoon rabbit's only hope to prove his innocence when he is accused of murder." Lloyd (Back to the Future) is the bad guy, Turner (War of the Roses) does the voice for Jessica Rabbit, and Cassidy (Blade Runner) is the love interest of the detective. All in all, I say: SEE IT - I recently bought it in Blue Ray.

Lover Unleashed: Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 9

Amazon describes the plot as, "Payne, twin sister of the Black Dagger Brother Vishous, suffers a devastating injury, and brilliant human surgeon Manuel Manello is called in to save her. Their attraction is instant, and as powerful as it is dangerous. But as human and vampire worlds collide, a centuries- old score catches up with Payne and puts both her love and her life in jeopardy." I, again, skip the boring parts and only listened to the plots I liked. Payne starts to fight and a discovery is made about Jane's friend Manny. All in all, I say: READ IT if you liked the other seven - skip eight - otherwise skip it. I listened to it on my trip to and from work.

The Walking Dead Book Nine

The group is still behind the fence living in the homes, but they are about to make good on their deal with the people on the hill. As they set about to free the people on the hill from the gang, they discover how big the gang really is. Rick says he has a plan, but to everyone is seems he is going to give into the demands of a crazy person. They have one of the originals die in this, and you will never see it coming - I didn't. All in all, I say: READ IT if you have read all the others. It went too fast though & now I have to wait....and wait....again.

High Noon

Cooper (Mr. Deeds Goes to Town) is a recently married Marshal. A train is coming through town at noon. On that train is a man that wants to kill the Marshal and possibly destroy the entire town. No one will help him prepare for the fight. His bride (Kelly from To Catch a Thief) doesn't want him to either because she's a Quaker and wants him to quit all together. It's really good and has been remade a couple of times with no success. All in all, I say: SEE IT and see it in black and white please - the way it was meant to be seen.

Shane

Had to watch this for a film class. The reluctant hero story that ends with him riding into the sunset. IMDb writes, "A weary gunfighter attempts to settle down with a homestead family, but a smoldering settler/rancher conflict forces him to act." Ladd (The Great Gatsby) plays Shane. This was directed by George Stevens (The Diary of Anne Frank). All in all, I say: SKIP IT
