The Reformed Vampire Support Group

An Australian novelist look at vampires from the point of view of someone that appears to be a teen, but really isn't. Amazon writes, "Think vampires are romantic, sexy, and powerful? Think again. Vampires are dead. And unless they want to end up staked, they have to give up fanging people, admit their addiction, join a support group, and reform themselves. 
   Nina Harrison, fanged at fifteen and still living with her mother, hates the Reformed Vampire Support Group meetings every Tuesday night. Even if she does appreciate Dave, who was in a punk band when he was alive, nothing exciting ever happens. That is, until one of group members is mysteriously destroyed by a silver bullet. With Nina (determined to prove that vamps aren't useless or weak) and Dave (secretly in love with Nina) at the helm, the misfit vampires soon band together to track down the hunter, save a werewolf, and keep the world safe from the likes of themselves.

Alien: Covenant

Plot wise this is the 2nd film in the Aliens series - even though it came out this year - 2017. Michael Fassbender (The Snowman) reprises his role. Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts), Billy Crudup (The Flash), Danny McBride (Vice Principals), Demian Bichir (Inglorious Bastards), and a couple of interesting cameos. It makes a lot more sense than Prometheus and less sense than Alien, but it explains and ties up a whole lot of lose ends. All in all, I say: SEE IT

All for Love

A Hallmark movie with Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect) and Steve Bacic (Garage Sale Mysteries). They have chemistry and they both are natural. Despite the screenplay - they do a good job. IMDb writes, "When a romance novelist is teamed with a Navy SEAL as research for her book, by a mandate from her publisher, she is less than thrilled and he is more than honest. However, as she works with the SEAL, she has a change of heart and learns to look at her life and writing with a different point of view. Stars Sara Rue, Steve Bacic and Teryl Rothery."All in all, I say: SEE IT
