Christmas Eve

Larry King gets his friends to help him make a movie so his wife can act in it. I guess he thought it would turn out like Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, but it was so boring. Acting was bad, dialogue was bad, directing was bad, editing was bad - uggg. A bunch of people get stuck in an elevator. All in all, I say: SKIP IT

Cable Girls

A Netflix original - it seemed like it would be interesting, but they dubbed. Horrible idea - All in all, I say: SKIP IT

Flashback Games

For about $15 a kid can play any console or arcade games for as long as they want. Also, they get two snacks and two drinks. I took my nephew and he loved it. They have all kinds of games including classics like PacMan and Tekken. All in all, I say: TRY IT if you have kids who like video games.

Small Crimes

A Netflix original that frankly was super boring. A former cop gets out of jail and right off the bat there is arguing and yelling with parents, with former partner, and so on. The audience only finds out bits and pieces about the past and it just gets annoying having to try to figure things out. It's like we join in the middle of a movie and since we aren't invested in the characters we don't care how it ends. All in all, I say: SKIP IT

Travelers

Brad Wright (SG-1) created this kind of time traveling story. Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) stars and is a producer. Teams from the future go back in time to try to fix things - which continue to be a disaster. It is well written, acted, and filmed. It's a who's who of Canadian actors. All in all, I say: STREAM IT on Netflix.

Wonder Woman

We first see her in Batman v Superman, and we will see her again in Justice League. This is a prequel or Wonder Woman origin story. Gal Gadot (Criminal) is Wonder Woman. The updated music from the original show is amazing. Most of the scenes are badass - warning - there is a lot of CGI in this and it's noticeable. Chris Pine (A Wrinkle in Time), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Connie Nielsen (Justice League), Danny Huston (Paranoid), and David Thewlis (Fargo) also star. All in all, I say: SEE IT

Genius

I started it, but I don't care for Thomas Wolfe and Jude Law annoyed me. IMDb writes, "A chronicle of Max Perkins's time as the book editor at Scribner, where he oversaw works by Thomas WolfeErnest HemingwayF. Scott Fitzgerald and others.". All in all, I say: SKIP IT
