I had high hopes for the film on Amazon, but it falls flat. It felt like it was trying hard not to try hard. If that makes sense. It felt forced and not natural in its comedy. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
Carey Mulligan (An Education) is spending her day in a minimum wage job, and her nights trapping unsavory men. It's a way to get revenge on something that happened during her college years. Do NOT trust any men in this and do NOT trust it will end well for anyone. All in all, I say: SEE IT just for her performance. It's on Amazon.
IMDb writes, "Alone in the woods, nature photographer Harper witnesses a violent crime. After being captured by the culprits, she uses her survivalist skills to try and make it out alive.". It's a horror movie on Amazon. And it's horrible. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
IMDb writes, "A group of young Miskatonic University scientists invent a time machine, only to learn that they are being manipulated by mysterious, unseen forces from another dimension". All in all, I say: SKIP IT It's on Hulu and I fast forwarded through most.
This horrible film on Hulu is not worth it. Josh Duhamel (Safe Haven) wrote, directed, and acted in this. I am inclined to think he had to call all his friends and call in all his favors to get this made. It's so bad - guy's guy comedy. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
So, the two final face off. This is the 4th or 5th movie in the series. See my blog on Godzilla and King Kong: Skull Island to get an idea of this film. It's kind of misleading like Superman vs. Batman. It's not horrible, but not the best. All in all, I say: SKIP IT if you haven't seen the other movies. It's on HBO.
Same as last blog - only this is the original cut by the original director. It makes a lot more sense, but you have to be prepared for a long film. All in all, I say: SEE IT on HBO
