Based on a book about a single mother with mental health issues (Amy Adams from Arrival). Her son is the narrator and main character. How he was able to get away from her and make something of himself. Glenn Close (Swan Song) stars as the grandmother. Their family started off in a hollow in Kentucky and moved to the Cincinnati. Ron Howard directs. All in all, I say: SEE IT on Netflix.
