This is a horror/science fiction series on HBO. It takes place during segregation and it surrounds a particular family. A woman escapes her master with her child and it sets forth a family destiny for decades. Her master was a magician of sorts which makes it very strange. Hard to know who to trust. It surrounds some real historical events as well. Courtney B Vance (Space Cowboys) and Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire) star. All in all, I say: SEE IT - super freaky
