Orange is the New Black

Streaming on Netflix is about a WASP (Schilling from Mercy) who is sent to federal prison when she is ratted out by her ex-lesbian lover (Prepon from That 70s Show) who was a drug trafficker. She has to serve 15 months and leave behind a fiancee (Biggs from American Pie), a best friend who is pregnant, and a brand new business. There are some funny scenes (a few) and there are some gross scenes. Some episodes are good and some I fast forward through. After the first show the others focus on individual inmates, so that helps. Mulgrew (Star Trek: Voyager) is an inmate. Lyonne (American Pie) is an inmate. There are some others you might recognize - one or two who also showed up in Weeds the other Jenji Kohan series. All in all, I say: TRY IT if you have Netflix.
