How To Train Your Dragon

3D is the only way to go with this film. It was amazingly cool - the kids loved it. The actors, voice overs, did a great job. There are jokes that only adults will get. I had fun. All in all, I say: 3D it!

Cop Out

I hate Tracy Morgan - never found him funny. Bruce is Bruce. The plot - cop needs to sell a valuable baseball card to pay for his daughters wedding. He is rob while at a baseball card shop and must find the card. I stopped watching half way through. All in all, I say: FORGET IT.

Good Hair

A good movie. I loved the international investigation. I also liked seeing the Atlanta scene represented. What curious culture - the hair culture. All in all, I say: RENT IT.

Whip It

Ellen Page does a good job. The actors in this really make it worth while. The plot os typical 80s follow your dream stuff - but that made it more appealing to me. Roller derby - makes me think Caan in Rollerball. All in all, I say: RENT IT.

The Bounty Hunter

A typical romantic comedy. No surprises. Light hearted and fun. All in all, I say: RENT IT.

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant

Based on a young adult novel 2 friends find themselves on opposite sides: one good & one evil. John C. Reilly plays a good guy and one of my favorite hunks play the bad guy (Ray Stevenson). All in all, I say: READ IT & RENT IT.

Wonderful World

A lot like the Visitor - Wonderful World is a slow story about a man that has lost his way. By befriending a brother (Michael K. Williams from The Wire) and sister from Senegal things get better. That and fishing raining from the sky - you'll have to see the movie to know what I am talking about. All in all, I say: RENT IT - it is Matthew Broderick after all.

Alice in Wonderland

Tim Burton's new film with - wait for it - of you guessed it - Johnny Depp. In 3D it was good, the costumes are amazing, the acting is as always well done - the plot what you expect. But - for some reason I didn't leave thinking WOW! All in all, I say: RENT IT.

Dark Country

My guess is the movie was supposed to be a kind of film noir picture. The narration got old at the beginning & then kind of falls away. Lots & I mean lots of talking about nothing. I got bored & stopped watching. All in all, I say: even though it has Thomas Jane - SKIP IT.

Killshot

Well, it had some really good actors and it is based on an Elmore Leonard book. I love Thomas Jane - the husband. The director/screenwriter did a horrible job. Gordan-Levitt looks cute, but his acting was over the top in this. All in all, I say: SKIP IT.

Bollywood Hero

Chris Kattan goes to India to be the dramatic lead in a Bollywood Movie. Very well done crossover film. In the end, the movie is a comedy because Chris is so funny. I didn't recognize any of the other actors. All in all, I say: RENT IT.

Pandorum

Hard to tell what is reality & I never saw the end coming - I liked the actors they picked. It's hard to describe: part horror, part sci-fi, & part psychological suspense. All in all, I say: RENT IT.

Jennifer's Body

Megan Fox is a demon and Amanda Seyfried is the girl to destroy her. There were some funny actors that didn't get to do much, and there were some clever lines (well generation Y funny lines). All in all, I say: SKIP IT.

Wicked

Tried it to see what all the fuss was about - didn't get any further than the second or third chapter. It was unnecessarily vulgar. All in all, I say: SKIP IT.

From Paris With Love

From Paris With Love starring John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Luc Besson film with all his action and excellent filming, but the plot sucks a big one. All in all, I say: FORGET IT EVER HAPPENED.
