Looper

Levitt (3rd Rock From the Sun) was sold by his mother as a child - he escaped and was found by a criminal (Jeff  Daniels from Newsroom) from the future who put a gun in his hand. He made him a Looper someone that kills men from the future when they are sent back in time. An End Loop is when a Looper kills his future self. This is where things go wrong. There is a random conversation in the beginning that is the key to the whole thing & once you know which Joe is the bad one you can guess the ending. Future Joe is Bruce Willis (Die Hard) - they did an amazing job making Levitt look like him - he even had a lot of the same mannerisms. Even still, all in all, I say: SEE IT

Pitch Perfect (AKA Fat Amy)

Main character wants to be a DJ, but her dad won't let her quite college to follow her dream unless she joins a group on campus and gives campus life a try. She joins an acapella group - which consists of several funny and weird people. The plot isn't really why you see this movie. You see it for the songs, especially the cup song. Fat Amy is the second reason to see this film. So, all in all, I say: SEE IT

Loosies

Peter Facinelli (Twilight)writes, directs, and acts in this New York piece. Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs) plays a cop trying to capture Peter's character - a pick pocket. He is picking pockets to pay off a debt of his dead fathers.  He ends up getting a girl pregnant and it changes his whole world. Vincent Gallo (Buffalo 66) plays the crook he owes money to. William Forsythe (Raising Arizona) and Joe Pantoliano (Matrix) also star. All in all, I say: STREAM IT - it was sort of interesting.

A Bird of the Air

He was found as  baby on the side of the road after a car crash that killed his parents. He didn't talk for years - even now as an adult working for the highway patrol cleaning up and helping stranded cards. She moves around a lot and works at libraries.  She loves her dog and she begins to love him after a couple of chance encounters. He would have taken forever to warm up to her if it wasn't for a parrot flying into his home would leads him on a journey. All in all, I say: SEE IT - it's sweet.
