Survival of the Dead

The 6th movie in the Dead series by Romero - not including The Crazies. The soldier from the Diary of the Dead and his diminishing platoon find themselves on an island. Plum Island is home to 2 feuding families. Three get away so there is hope for another Dead movie. Just less dialogue please. Soem stuff was just stupid - the female soldier not being able to get away for example! A couple of chuckles. All in all, I say: WATCH IT ON TV when it comes out.

Letters to Juliet

Amanda Seyfried from Big Love does a good job. Vanessa Redgrave does a better job. It is a typical girly movie. You know the two people that argue are going to end up together, but the scene at the end - there is a terrible one liner. All in all, I say: Rent It.

The Boys are Back

He does a great job - the movie is a dramatic piece. A man is widowed with a young son and tries to work it out. His oldest son from a previous marriage arrives and the 3 become a family. Nothing new or exciting, but slow & peaceful. All in all, I say: Rent it.

Robin Hood

Ahhhh, Russell Crowe doing his own stunts - fighting - talking - riding a horse - I could go on. I like this new twist on how things began with Hood and his merry men. Scott does a good job as always. All in all, I say: See it.

Iron Man 2

Well, the fight scenes are good. The one with Scarlett Johansson is awesome. Some of the lines are funny - but it felt disjointed. The editing didn't work for me and there were more an a couple boring scenes. All in all, I say: Rent it.

Food Matters

Wow! I have fallen for the propaganda - this film blew me away. There is no such thing as an overdose of Vitamin C - there are superfoods out there. I am going out to buy vitamins!! All in all, I say: YOU MUST SEE IT NOW!!!

Runaways

Story of Joan Jett's first band. Only Kristin & Dakota had any real lines. It was more about the two of them - than the band - which was disappointing. I got bored with the drug scenes - there really wasn't much to the film. All in all, I say: SKIP IT & just listen to some class Joan Jett.
