Who said Jet Li retired? He did a lot less action in this one. There is one good war scene - kind of graphic - but that's about it. Love triangle, Chinese politics, and a blood oath are - as always - nothing but trouble. And as we always see in a period piece done in China - most everyone dies. All in all, I say: SKIP IT it didn't impress me. There was a preview for a new John Woo though.
