Directed by Jodi Foster. Well directed - I like the actor that plays her oldest son. I tried - it's not like the acting was bad or even that the plot was bad - I just don't like movies about depression & boy was he in a depression - in the end you realize that The Beaver is something more than you think. It will cost the main character a piece of himself. All in all, I say: SKIP IT.
