Both books are from the Austin time period. Last Man in the World begins when Darcy first asked Elizabeth to marry him. In Austin's book Pride & Prejudice - Elizabeth says no and Darcy sets out to prove himself. Well, in this book she says yes the first time, they get married, and then he has to set out to prove himself. In What Would Jane Austin Do - a costume designer strikes a bargain with a couple of ghosts to go back in time and protect them from scandal. She does and while she's there she meets the love of her life. All in all, I say: SKIP THEM just reread Pride & Prejudice again.
