Hesher

Gordon-Levitt (Inception) is an amazing actor. He does a great job playing a drugged out metal head in this film. His character comes across a young boy that has recently lost his mother and is being bullied. In his own criminal way Hesher manages to help the kid find his path. He also manages to help the boy's dad (Rainn Wilson from The Office) wake up from his grief. His character tells these crude and messed up metaphors to explain himself and his behavior. He gets under the skin of the other characters as well as the audience. Natalie Portman (The Professional) also stars. All in all, I say: RENT IT - it gets on your nerves, but somehow Gordon-Levitt makes it work.
