From the people that brought you The Office. A film crew that we never see follows the government employees of a small town in Indiana called Pawnee (think that is how it is spelled). These employees work for the parks and recreation department. The head of the department is a Libertarian that does not believe in government and in fact does as little as he possibly can. The deputy played by Amy Poehler (Saturday Night Live) does all the work and is amazing. He assistant is played by Aziz Ansari (the American express kayak commercial),  her friend is played by Rashida Jones (The Office), her bosses boss is played by Rob Lowe (West Wing), and her boyfriend is played by Adam Scott (Friends With Kids). It has cute moments and moments that make you laugh till you cry. I was never able to see the series because it conflicted with something else, but it streams on Netflix now except for Season 4. All in all, I say: STREAM IT
