Mendez (Hitch) was very young when she had a child. Now her child is a teenager and thinks that if she goes through all the steps to becoming an adult as a teen she can be on her own sooner. This is a wake up call for mom. There's arguing & crying. It didn't seem new or different - I was bored. Modine (Memphis Belle)plays a boyfriend of the mom. Arquette (Medium) is a teacher that helps connect mother and daughter. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
