Unfinished Sky

A woman who was brought illegally into Australia from Afghanistan in order to escape the Taliban is sold by the trafficker to an Outback hotel owner to pay off a debt. The hotel owner decides to use her as a prostitute. She escapes badly beaten and raped. Not knowing where she is or where to go, she makes it to an Outback ranch. The owner has been alone since his wife died 6 years ago. Because the immigrant and his wife look familiar he takes her in and forms a bond with her. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the scene with his dog, Elvis. All in all, I say: SEE IT on Netflix streaming.
