The Goonies

Classic for the 80s - cult classic from that moment on. IMDb writes, "A group of kids embark on a wild adventure after finding a pirate treasure map." Written by Spielberg (Jaws) and one of my all time favorites, Chris Columbus (also writer of Gremlins, Young Sherlock Holmes, Nine Months, and producer & director of over 16 films). Astin (LOTR), Brolin (W), Feldman (The Lost Boys), Plimpton (Raising Hope), Ke Quan (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom), and Green (Lucas). There are some really good lines, some amazing actors, and a fun plot. All in all, I say: not only should you have already SEEN IT by now, but you should totally already OWN IT.
