Efficiency Expert
IMDb writes, "An expert on productivity shows wacky workers in 1966 Australia how to run their moccasin factory like clockwork, despite laying off more than half the workforce." There are a couple of other subplots to this one. Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs) recently finished a job before starting the moccasin factory and the union workers blame him for the bosses layoffs. One of the youngest moccasin workers (Mendelsohn from Killing Them Softly) falls for the bosses daughter who is trying to make one of the executives (Crowe from State of Play) jealous. Meanwhile, one of the female workers (Collette from The Sixth Sense) has a crush on Mendelsohn, but will he notice her before it's too late. All in all, I say: SEE IT. As far as most Australian films from the 90s it isn't that bad.
