They Live

I love, love John Carpenter movies! This movie is based on a short story and Carpenter helped write the screenplay. Canadian actor, Piper (WWF Raw), is a drifter who comes across some unusual sunglasses. When he puts them on not everyone appears human. Some people show up as skeleton looking creatures. David (Crash) shows up to help. Once this down on his luck and sick of the authority discovers that the wealthy and privileged are aliens he gets his hand on a gun. Will he escape the aliens? Will they kill him? Will anyone believe him? This is not gross and not especially violent for this day in time. It was such an original idea at the time. All in all, I say: SEE IT
