Home Alone 1 & 2

Chris Columbus (Gremlins) directs this John Hughes (The Breakfast Club) film. Culkin (The Good Son) is accidently left behind while his family leaves snowy Chicago for the holidays. Two burglars (Pesci from Goodfellas and Stern from City Slickers) believe they have hit the jackpot, but the boy keeps them at bay. All in all, I say: SKIP IT - I don't like slapstick.
There are actually 2 more after this, but they don't star Culkin. This one is NOT written by Hughes, but is still directed by Columbus. IMDb writes, "One year after Kevin was left home alone and had to defeat a pair of bumbling burglars, he accidentally finds himself in New York City, and the same criminals are not far behind.." All in all, I say: SKIP IT, too.
