Firefly

A series by Joss Whedon from 2002 till 2003. Fillion (Castle) is the Captain of the ship which is a Firefly class ship called Serenity (named after the last battle he fought in). Torres (Angel) is his second in command - they fought together and now they fly together in search of jobs - some legal & some not so much. Tudyk (Suburgatory) is the pilot and is also married to Torres' character. Baccarin (V) is a consort - she takes jobs in and around where the crew gets jobs. She & the captain are in love, but neither will ever admit it. Baldwin (The Last Ship) is the muscle - none to bright, but oh man nice to look at. Staite (Stargate: Atlantis) is the ship's mechanic. Maher (Make it or Break it) is on the run with his sister (Glau from Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles) - he's a doctor. Glass (Agents of SHIELD) is a preacher with a past. The lines in this a fantastic and funny. IMDb writes, "Five hundred years in the future, a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as authority agents out to get them." All in all, I say: SEE IT oh heck, BUY IT
