A Scotsman captures a young lady in hopes of exchanging her for his son. His son was kidnapped and taken to the English as a plot against Scotland. The man holding his son does not want his daughter back, but has no choice but to turn the Scotsman's son. Feeling bad for the young lass, he keeps her. On the journey back home they fall in love. It was a free Kindle book - some of the scenes are really funny. If you don't like reading accents then you will become frustrated. I thought it was kind of fun. All in all, I say: READ IT if you like romance.
