A free Kindle book, a young lady finds herself neglected after both her parents and her uncle pass. Turns out her uncles much younger wife is trying not only to hide the young lady from society, but take her wealth as well. She is finally put into the home of her godmother who arranges for her nephew to take her new ward into society. They fall in love. The characters are more interesting than usually - there is only one sex scene - which is unusually as well. All in all, I say: READ IT if you like period romance otherwise SKIP IT - it's not very high brow.
