Edge of Tomorrow

Close your eyes and think about these 2 movies - Groundhog Day meets Aliens - that's this movie.

An alien species is conquering Earth because it can reset a day and do it all over again. Cruise (Mission Impossible 5) and Blunt (Into the Woods) get exposed to the blood of one of the creatures and for awhile they are able to reset the day in their advantage. To stop all of it - they need to get rid of the head honcho alien. It is funny and has action. Paxton (Aliens) is a master sergeant, Gleeson (Suffragette) is the head of the united defense, and Armstrong (Robin Hood) has bulked up to play a soldier. All in all, I say: SEE IT - it's fun - and it's also in 3D.
