Pompeii

IMDb writes, "A slave-turned-gladiator finds himself in a race against time to save his true love, who has been betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator. As Mount Vesuvius erupts, he must fight to save his beloved as Pompeii crumbles around him." Everything in the movie happens in roughly two days. You already know everyone dies in the end, so I just watched it for the fights and swordplay. Sutherland (24) never should have been cast as the bad guy or anyone during the Roman Era period. He was horrible. Harington (Game of Thrones) did a good job - almost the exact part he has on that show - so it wasn't hard. Moss (Matrix), Browning (24), Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Oz), and Harris (The Boxtrolls) also star. All in all, I say: SEE IT if you want a nonthinking action film & don't expect much.
