Satisfaction (movie)

In 1988, an awesome movie came out that I watched a dozen times. Family Ties was over and Mystic Pizza was all the craze.
Bateman (Family Ties), Roberts (Mystic Pizza), Alvarado (The Frightners), Coffey (Ferris Bueller's Day Off), Phillips (JEM), and Neeson (Ted 2) all starred. A band drives to the beach to play in bar over the summer to raise some money and get some experience. The lead singer falls in love with the owner of the bar who happens to be a music producing legend. It's a growing up - coming of age kind of thing. It had a rock and roll and a mix of punk feeling. Rebellious kind of. At the time it was amazing, now it might seem childish. All in all, I say: SEE IT - and then get the soundtrack.
