Slow West

Australian Smit-McPhee (The Road) is a wealthy Scot who falls for a fisherman's daughter. His uncle gets into it with the girl's father (McCann from Game of Thrones). The uncle is killed, so the man and his daughter flee to the American West. There is a bounty on them which draws out several unsavory characters like Mendelsohn (Exodus) and Fassbender (Assassin's Creed). It's tragic, but poetic. It had a great screenplay and the cinematography was well done. All in all, I say: SEE IT. I saw it on DirecTv on Demand.
