Streep (Suffragette) is Linda who gave up her family in hopes of being a star. She left them for LA and when she didn't become a big rock and roll sensation she tried to return home only to find her family had moved on. She is the house band for a small bar when her ex Kline (Dean) calls to ask her to come home to help their daughter who is going through a divorce. Gummer (The Good Wife), Springfield (Traces), Platt (Pitch Perfect), and Stan (Black Swan) also star. Diablo Cody (Juno) wrote the screenplay and Demme (The Killing) directed, and even still it was bad. All in all, I say: SKIP IT - it was mostly Streep singing horrible songs anyways.
