Clean Break

McArdle (Ella Enchanted) stars and he does a good, yet creepy job. At first you think this is just a pretty good guy afraid of losing everything which would include his daughter, with the aid of a local criminal he decides to rob the mob of some money by kidnapping a banker's wife. SPOILER

It tuns out the banker is a sociopath and was 20 steps ahead of everyone in this. He ends up with the money and everyone else - criminal, mob, and desperate man - all end up dead or in jail. He is terrifying. It was filmed in Ireland as a limited series on TV. I watched it on Acorn TV. All in all, I say: SKIP IT if you like happy endings. If you like sociopath movies then SEE IT.  IMDb writes, "When a kidnapping goes awry, the blacklash that occurs leaves a drastic and catastrophic effect on the entire town."
