Banks edits and write a piece for this book. It is a collection of research materials on citizenship education. My favorite social studies researcher, Walter C Parker, has a piece in this too. It focuses a lot on global citizenship. The only problem - we don't teacher citizenship of any kind in 6th or 7th grade middle school in Georgia. All in all, I say: READ IT
