I read the book for my own pleasure - I was trying to decide if I was religious or not and reading a variety of things. This book was one. I thoroughly enjoyed the arguments inside the book. All in all, I say: READ IT - in fact I would read the book, see the movie, and then read articles about the real case - and in that order.
Tracy (How the West was Won), Kelly (SInging in the Rain), York (Bewitched), and March (A Star is Born) star. IMDb writes, "Based on a real-life case in 1925, two great lawyers argue the case for and against a science teacher accused of the crime of teaching evolution." All in all, I say: SEE IT
