7 seasons are on Netflix to binge watch. Graham (Parenthood) had a daughter at 16 and raised her pretty much on her own. The series begins when her daughter, Bledel (Us & Them), is 16. The grandparents start to make an effort to get involved in their lives. They live in a very small town with lots of characters. The banter is good - some of the scenes are ridiculous though. Jenji Kohan (Weeds) produces. All in all, I say: SEE IT - it's decent, good tv. Also, they have a mini-series coming, so watch all the others first.
The four movies where good - so nice to get back into things. Problem - last one doesn't really tie it up - it kind of leaves you hanging. The cameos were nice but oddly placed in some cases. All in all, I say: SEE IT if you watched the show.
