Book 17 in the Jack Reacher series. He's on his way to Virginia to meet the woman who took his position in the military when he gets picked up by three people. Turns out on is a hostage and 2 seem like bad guys - the beginning with him is interested. The more the plot develops the worse and more implausible it becomes. It gets down right ridiculous and someone dies that didn't need to except it pushed Jack to kill everyone like usual. He gets away without any being any wiser. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
