The Jungle Book

The 1967 Disney musical version had catchy songs and the voices matched the creature. All in all, I say: SEE IT - it's a classic.

Disney is on a live action kick. They have asked Faveau (Elf) to make like three of these things. This is the 1st - Jungle Book. Murray (Lost in Translation), Kinglsy (Sneakers), Elba (Luther), Walken (Pulp Fiction), Johansson (Lost in Translation), Shandling (Gary Shandling Show), and Esposito (Smoke) all do voices for the animals. I will say that the kid who played the kid - did a great job. Here is my biggest problem - these animals would not be in the jungle in India nor would they interact like they do!!! Disney drives me bonkers. I would almost prefer the cartoon simply because the voices matched the creatures and the songs weren't half bad. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
