The 1950s version starred Heston (10 Commandments). It's long, but for its time it was astounding I'm sure. All in all, I say: SKI IT
In the 2016 version, Huston (Stand By) plays the Jew, Judah Ben-Hur who is sent to be a slave for 5 years only to return to face his adopted brother in a chariot race. Santoro (Focus), Freeman (Angel Has Fallen), and Kebbell (Gold) also star. All in all, I say: SEE IT - only 2 hours and a decent battle scene.
