Book 4 in the DD Warren series. Two families are found slaughtered and there are no suspects until the detectives discover the families shared a common thread - kids who are capable if killing. There are 3 points of view in this one - true to her style Gardner has characters take turns filling in pieces of the story. DD is one, a mother of a kid who can kill is one, and a nurse who treats kids who can kill is one...I knew who the murderer was the second they introduced the person.
