Based on a novel this movie was written, directed and acted by Ross Partridge (Stranger Things). He pays a man: who is getting divorced, who has his father pass away, who lies to his clueless mistress, who gets asked to take a leave from work, and who meets an 11 year old girl and forms a friendship with her. Half the conversations he has with her a creepy - the other half seem normal. Half the time you wonder if he's a pedophile - the other half you think - they are just friends. It made me anxious, so... All in all, I say: SKIP IT
