This is a mini-series prequel on the character Tennison that Helen Mirren made famous. Stefanie Martini (Emerald City) plays Tennison. The episodes that aired on PBS center around her first days on the job and the solving of a young girls murder. It seemed slow and boring honestly. I found I didn't care about any of the characters much. All in all, I say: SKIP IT and just watch the original Prime Suspects.
