The Shape of Water

A Guillermo Del Toro film about a deaf lonely woman finding love with an Amazon creature. It takes place during WWII. It’s disturbing like all his films. It still has all the ingredients of an old timey creature feature. Sally Hawkins (Maudie) and Michael Shannon (Waco) star. It’s mostly about how a group of misfits try to find freedom. All in all, I say: Skip it

  1. Aw, I enjoyed it. Maybe not Oscar-worthy, but still good.
