The Silent Patient

A woman is sent to an institution because after the murder of her husband she stopped talking. She didn't talk to the cops, she didn't talk during the trail, and she hasn't talked in therapy...yet. The book is told from the point of view of a psychiatrist - one who wants to become the accused murderers therapist. 60% of the way through I had three guesses as to what the twist would be - the ending and one of my three was right. I found it slow - I didn't like it all being from the man's point of view. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
