A BBC Masterpiece Classic presentation. It has my new UK favorite hottie, Rupert Penry-Jones from the TV series I blogged about earlier - Whitechapel. In this he is amazing. There is so much feeling - these actors do an amazing job. It is so much better than all the other Austin films. This movie is now my all time favorite Austin film. My favorite Austin book is still Northanger Abbey and my favorite character is still Mr. Darcy, but there is just something about how this was written, edited, and acted that I can't help but put it on top. All in all, I say: SEE IT.
