The filmmaker goes to all 50 states to film and talk to people who are becoming naturalized citizens. This documentary really reminds Americans what it means to be an American. I think we all need to be reminded - many of us take things for granted. There was a less than 1% chance when I was born that I would be born a white, middle class, female, American and I should never forget the privileges and responsibilities that come with that. I am so grateful to be an American.
