Northward to the Moon
Sequel to My One Hundred Adventures. The main character Jane has been with her sister, two brothers, her mother, and step-father in Canada. When her step dad's job falls through the family packs up and heads into Carrier country. Once there the tribe tells her step dad his brother left him a bag of money - they want nothing to do with the money that is probably from ill gotten gains. They decide to take them money back, and on their jounrey they meet the step dad's mother and three sisters. A lot of family drama. This is not a very exciting book what made it enjoyable was the figurative language Horvath uses - she has a way with words. All in all, I say: READ the series.
