Alex Cross before he becomes Morgan Freeman's Alex Cross. Tyler Perry (Good Deeds) is Alex before he joined the FBI; back when he was cop he had a wife who was pregnant, and he had 2 kids. A sociopath killed his wife and his partner's girlfriend. Burns (She's The One) plays his friend and partner. Fox (Party of Five) plays the sociopath - really well too - he's really fit in this. Nichols (Continuum) plays the girlfriend. Tyson (The Help) plays Alex's mom. Reno (The Professional) plays the rich man behind the whole mess. It takes place in Detroit. The acting by everyone except Fox is HORRIBLE. The plot is made convoluted by the screenplay writers and the editors. All in all, I say: SKIP IT - I want Morgan Freeman back!
