Longmire

Robert Taylor (Australian tv show Killing Time) is a sheriff in Wyoming - my new top choice for retirement. Taylor doesn't not use his accent. He is a man's man. He is up for re-election and one of his deputies, Branch (Chase from Saving Grace) wants the job. His other deputy (Sackhoff from Battlestar Galactica) is from the big city; she moved because of her husband's job. Their marriage is in ruins and she really likes the sheriff (insert female giggle). The sheriff lost his wife and may have killed a man - no not in Reno. Basically, he has baggage, but with the mountain man stuff and his dry wit, he's so lovable.  His best friend is played by Phillips from Young Guns. Lots of Native American politics and stuff in this too. The setting, the actors, and the type of crime drama all works together in harmony. All in all, I say: SEE IT on A&E.
