Falling Skies

Yet, another show I could have sworn I would have blogged about already!

Wyle (ER) is a history professor and father of three sons. The show begins once the aliens have already arrived, kidnapped a ton of kids, and are on their way to eliminating humans. Wyle's character joins a local Boston resistance - his group takes on a large group of civilians who decide to make their way south. Several seasons later they are in Charleston, South Carolina and he is President of their group. There are three kinds of aliens, and they have several machines and biological warfare techniques to get at the resistance which is currently winning. Patton (The Postman) is one of the fighters who has helped Wyle's character along the way. Someone that started out as a bad guy and has come to being a huge help to the resistance is Cunningham from Stargate: Atlantis. Most of the big fight scenes are skipped, so as to save money I would guess, and keep the show more of a character driven show. All in all, I say: SEE IT
