Redemption a.k.a Hummingbird
IMDb writes, "Homeless and on the run from a military court martial, a damaged ex-special forces soldier navigating London's criminal underworld seizes an opportunity to assume another man's identity -- transforming into an avenging angel in the process." They skip the part where he works for an Asian gang while giving back to the homeless community. He also gets involved with a nun - now I know that sounds sketchy, but since this is more of a character sketch than a martial arts movie - it works. He actually has to do some acting. Statham (Transporter) is the only recognizable actor, but they all do an amazing job. Steven Knight is the writer/director who also did another gem Eastern Promises. All in all, I say: if you like gritty SEE IT - it's in theatres, but I saw it on Directv.
