The original and first true Disney princess Hayley Mills (Pollyanna) stars in two roles. Two girls - one from California wine country and one from London meet at a camp. They have a feud until the camp counselors force them to stay in the same cabin under lockdown. They realize that they are twin sisters. The father (Keith from The Seekers tv movie)got one and the mother (O'Hara from The Quiet Man) got one. They decide to switch and force their parents to switch them back which they hope will reignite the love. There is some fun to be had when the girls go on a camping trip with a young girl (Barnes from Auntie Mame) that wants to marry their dad.
Barnes makes another appearance in this remake. This time Lohan (Herbie Fully Loaded) plays the twins, Quaid (Something To Talk About) plays the father, and the late, great Richardson (Nell). This was also very disney - a clothing montage - some unlikely romances etc. All in all, I say: SEE THEM, but in order. My favorite will always be the original.
