Soldiers of Fortune
I was so excited about getting this on Netflix because it stars Slater (The Name of the Rose), Bean (Goldeneye), Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Monaghan (FlashForward), Cromwell (Babe), and Meaney (Star Trek: Next Generation). IMDb simplifies this rather complex plot well. "Wealthy thrill-seekers pay huge premiums to have themselves inserted into military adventures, only this time things don't go exactly to plan." Most of the first hour is a run down of the good guys and bad guys - they do it like three times. It annoying and exhausting. There is a scene at the beginning of the movie during a card game that is awkward and I was embarrassed for all involved. This had so much potential with the calibre of actors, but falls short on plot and editing. Horrible editing job. All in all, I say: SKIP IT
